BEIJING, May 22 (Xinhua) -- The opening ceremony of the art education exchange series under the China-Russia Years of Education was held on Thursday at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
During the event, artists from both countries, along with the conservatory's faculty and students, performed classic works such as "The Red Detachment of Women" and Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 4," delivering an artistic feast to the audience.
Their performance, which features various art forms, including symphony, chorus and traditional Chinese music, as well as cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, displayed both sides' successes in art education.
The upcoming activities in the series, which run from 2026 to 2027, feature diverse forms of collaboration, ranging from performances, exhibitions, joint courses, artistic creations, and faculty and student visits.
These activities will provide a platform for young people from the two countries to engage in each other's cultures and inject new vitality into China-Russia cultural and educational collaboration.
